Dr. Nicola Wenn

Born and raised in Ontario, Nicola obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph where she studied Bio-Medical Sciences. She then completed her veterinary training at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) and joined us as a 2020 graduate.

Dr. Wenn's special interests are in feline medicine, internal medicine, and oncology. Nicola also has a keen interest in international veterinary outreach and travelled to South Africa and Namibia through the Global Vets program during her studies at OVC. While abroad, she volunteered with companion animal welfare clinics and wildlife veterinarians working with species including cheetahs, rhinos, and lions.

Nicola grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds and set her sights on a career in veterinary medicine from a young age. Outside of the animal hospital, you can find Nicola hiking, biking, or taking photographs of beautiful BC and its wildlife! Nicola and her husband share their home with two litter-mate cats, Yoshi and Billy who they fostered and adopted as kittens.
