Pocket Pet Services

Providing care for mice, rats, hedgehogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, and sugar gliders!

At Glenview Animal Hospital, we offer veterinary care to the tiniest of animals. Our team is knowledgeable about caring for mice, rats, hedgehogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, and sugar gliders. These pets can suffer from parasitic infections, leptospirosis, skin problems, tumours, or salmonellosis.

What services are offered to pocket pets?

We offer the same veterinary services to small animals as we do to every pet we see. Your pocket pet can have lab work, physical exams, radiographs, and receive surgery or medication at our clinic.

What are signs that my pocket pet should see a veterinarian?

The following are general signs that your pocket pet might be unwell:

  • Diarrhea
  • Lumps on their body
  • Weight loss
  • Discharge from the eyes or nose
  • Quieter than usual
  • Hair loss or bald patches
